How Common Is It?

It is quite common as approximately 4% of the entire population is affected by red-green colour vision deficiency. This condition is more prevalent among men (8%) than women (0.5%).
As estimated, there are 300 million colour blind individuals globally, which means there is a colour blind relative likely in every second family and a colour blind child in every second classroom.
