Exhibiting at 100% Optical in London – the UK’s largest and Europe’s fastest-growing international annual optical event – sparked a lot of interest and meaningful discussions. The UK market will soon see many colour vision specialists emerging across the country.

No wonder MIDO is the leading exhibition in the eyewear industry. COLORON’s stand was located in the Start-up area, and the unique solution attracted a lot of attention. We had many engaging discussions with local opticians and international visitors from Brazil, the USA, Canada, and beyond. COLORON’s partner network is definitely starting to grow.

UIMC (International Union of Railways) Congress 2024
2-4 October 2024, Budapest

COLORON R&D team leader Máté Szabó delivered a presentation to the UIC special group of railway medical directors with the title "New perspectives in colour vision" about colour vision deficiency, possibilities for its correction and COLORON's products. Dozens of medical specialists from the US, Germany, Israel and the UK, among others were interested in and tried on our glasses.

The Congress of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons is about sharing the latest advances and innovations in the field of ophthalmology. COLORON was present besides its parent company, Medicontur Ltd. It was a great opportunity to meet with industry experts and make valuable connections.

UAL Central St Martins Showcase
12-14 June 2024, London

Jing Ge is a BA Textile Designer graduate of the Central Saint Martins College of UAL specializing in Print Design. With her final work she raised awareness to colour vision deficiency (CVD). At the Showcase people with CVD had the chance to enjoy her artwork more with COLORON glasses, and those with regular colour vision got an insight into how colour blind people see colours.
